Everything has a label at the store. Label of who much it is, label of what it's made of, label of the company, etc. But do people walk around with labels too? And if so, what label does God have for us?
Due to some technical difficulties we lost last weeks message. This week, we figured it out and we continue our DV8 series with "In Action."
DV8 or deviate was the name of Pastor Ruben's old youth group. It focused on being different from everyone. Pastor Ruben explains that there are four areas of our life that need to be different from everyone else.
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. -Hebrews 11:6
We are back and so was God. We had our first service of the new year and in the new youth room but apparently God wanted a big part of it. Here are clips of different moments of that awesome day.

Life can be distracting. Between tests, school, friends, health, etc., there are plenty of reasons to lose focus. We need to remove the distracts to focus on Jesus but how?
Hate is an extremely strong word. Pastor Ruben defines it as "Wishing they had never crossed your path." The question is do you hate and does hate ever go to sleep?
Pastor Ruben begins a new series entitled "Cleaning House." This week, he focuses on the burden of sin and how it piles on to your life and slows you down. It's time to clean up from sin.

The Holy Spirit began to move in our service, and this was the result. Hear Pastor Ruben explain why we may try to quit on God, when He is not at fault.
When we hear about reaching out to people, we feel like we have to be perfect or that they have to accept Jesus right then and there. But what if reaching out was a lot simpler then that?
What if we were able to plant seeds and they instantly sprang up? We all did it as a kid, when we planted watermelons. Imagine if it happened. There would be watermelons everywhere. But does it work like that when it comes to spiritual things?
Pastor Ruben always says "One does, what one can." It means do what you are capable of. Jesus has this same mentally when it comes to the church. Found out how you can use your gifts.

This week Shelly, our newest youth staff, gives her story. Forgiveness is something that we take for granted. We give it only to those that we feel like deserve it. But does Jesus feel the same way?

We constantly post on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. And everyone loves it when we get comments, likes, and favorites on our posts. Everyday we are making announcements and looking for acceptance. But why?
If it isn't broke, then why fix it? H-Town Master's Commission came back for a round 2. Here is a compilation of the things they said. For more information check www.h-townmc.com
H-Town Master's Commission was in the house and took over our service. They did dramas and worship. Listen to a compilation of the things that different HMC students had to say.
Maybe throughout this series, it hasn't applied to you. Your life is great. You have no problems and no worries. But what if we told you, that you are suppose to be "broken." Not in the sense of hurt but compassion with action.
Job is a very interesting book of the Bible. He was labeled as blameless, yet goes through an awful experience, where he loses everything. Does he blame God, or does he continue to be blameless?

When you don't believe someone you say "prove it." But what happens if God is saying "prove it" to us? Are you capable of proving you are who you say you are?
No one likes to admit to weakness. We do everything we can to hide the weakness we have, whether it is through clothes, make up, or even silence. But what if strength can be found in weakness, and how does that even make sense?
Everyday is a Masquerade. We act one way around our friends, another to our family, and another to people we see at work or school. We are not the only ones wearing masks. Satan is too. What if you knew you could be accepted for who you are, without the mask?
There are many "new" religions out there. All created by someone. They pick and choose what rules to follow. The question is, do we as Christians do the same? Do we create our own "Plastic Jesus?" Remember #5 is not a suggestion. (Find out the meaning of that.)
